Elevated Patient Experience
Mary Ann’s passion for creating an environment with an emotional connection and an elevated experience drives her to ensure our patients feel cared for and valued whenever they walk through our doors. The idea of curating a patient experience that is similar to what you would expect in a first-class cabin when flying is rooted in Mary Ann’s past work as a Director of Inflight Training for a major airline.
Commercial aviation may seem like a field that is entirely incompatible with dentistry, but Mary Ann was able to bring her leadership skills and passion for creating and providing an elevated experience to the practice and helped make it something our patients will never forget, whether it is a patient’s first appointment, where they are welcomed and guided by one of our Patient Advocates, or undergoing treatment to achieve their smile and oral health goals. In Mary Ann’s vision, dentistry is more than a transaction. It’s a thoughtful, patient-centered experience.
Every Interaction Matters
Part of the transformation of the patient experience at CDA was bringing intentionality into the mix, creating a space where it is as positive as possible. When we began implementing what we now call “fusion dentistry,” we were doing something new and virtually unheard of in dentistry. This focus and intentionality, combined with the clinical excellence our practice offers, have taken the services we provide to a whole new level in patient care.
Dentistry as Artistry
People rarely think of dentists as artists, and strictly speaking, they might not be, but there is artistry in providing a service that draws on all your abilities and skills to the fullest. There is something artistic about taking the time to focus on the patient in front of you, on what they need and what their goals are, and then creating a treatment plan that is only for them.
