A More In-Depth First Dental Visit
New patients start with a dedicated 90-minute Discovery Visit. Before you even meet the clinical team, you’ll sit down with a patient advocate and talk through your goals, concerns, and whatever dental history you’re bringing with you. From there, we explore the Five Pillars of Health together: soft tissue, hard tissue, function, aesthetics, and airway. Once we understand what matters most to you, we bring in the clinical team through what we call the Triangle of Trust.
The visit itself covers a lot of ground: digital scans and impressions, a full photographic series, a TMJ assessment, saliva testing to evaluate buffering capacity and decay risk, and an in-depth oral cancer screening. We also take periodontal measurements and complete full charting.
Preventive Visits That Track Your Progress
Routine checkups start with a medical history review and blood pressure check before we revisit your Five Pillars of Health together. Our team uses Overjet AI-assisted imaging to add clear visual overlays to your X-rays, helping identify bone levels, gum margins, and areas of decay. This kind of technology makes changes easier to see and gives you a more active role in conversations about your own care. After a gentle cleaning and polish, we may apply a remineralization varnish with fluoride or nano-hydroxyapatite, a mineral your teeth already contain naturally. Each appointment wraps up with a Pathway to Health progress report, so you can see clearly what’s improved and what might still need attention.
