We review medical history, check blood pressure, perform an oral cancer screening with a special scope, and take digital X-rays or scans when they’re needed. Our team also measures periodontal health and photographs any areas of concern, so both you and your teen can clearly understand the findings together.

If orthodontic care could be beneficial, we’ll talk through whether clear aligner therapy makes sense or whether a referral would better meet your teen’s needs. For more complex concerns, we coordinate directly with trusted local orthodontists. Teens who feel nervous are welcome to schedule a complimentary office tour before their first appointment. We also offer two private operatories with closing doors for a quieter setting, along with nitrous oxide and conscious sedation options when appropriate. For families looking for more predictable costs, our Teen Complete membership plan includes routine exams, cleanings, X-rays, and fluoride applications for one annual fee.
